Syria Relief will work hard to raise funds for our charitable work through a wide variety of events and activities, from ‘Dish Parties’ to ‘Charity Sales’, and from sponsored sporting activities to organized lectures and talks.
All these events will be carefully planned and organized, and will be advertized in advance as much as possible. We will work closely with Local Authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure that we comply with all the rules and regulations as stipulated in our aims and objectives, and according to the rules and regulations stipulated by the UK Charity Commission.
We would also gratefully welcome efforts of outside organizations and individuals wishing to organize such events on behalf, or for the benefit of, Syria Relief. However, in order to ascertain compliance with the aforementioned rules and regulations, and to ensure that we provide the organizers with all the help and support they need, we must insist that the organizers of any such activities should seek prior approval of the Board of Trustees of Syria Relief. We cannot take any responsibility for any activity organized in our names or for the benefit of Syria Relief, unless the event has the explicit prior written consent of our Board of Trustees. Furthermore, Syria Relief would reserve the right to take any action it deems appropriate, including legal action, in cases of unauthorized use of Syria Relief name or logo to organize, promote, publicize, or report on events that are not organized directly by the Charity, or with the explicit prior written consent of the Board of Trustees.
Similarly, we must stress that Syria Relief, and the Syria Relief logo are copyrighted. Their use, in any form, without the explicit prior written authorization of the Board of Trustees is prohibited, and would represent an infringement on those copyrights. Syria Relief would reserve the right to take any action it deems appropriate, including legal action, to protect those copyrights.
