Syria Relief is back in Jordan.
Our Aid Workers and Volunteers from the UK teamed up with some of the local aid workers and in Jordan, and worked incessantly to help needy Syrian refugees.
Their task was not restricted to refugees in designated camps. In fact, they spent most of their time helping refugees scattered throughout towns and villages in northern Jordan. They managed to arrange accommodation for over fifty families, and paid the rent for dozens more. They purchased and distributed food parcels, winter clothes, shoes, blankets, and toys and crayons for children, to Syrian families living in harsh conditions.
Furthermore, they helped pay for medications, and several wheelchairs for children and adults, and bought sewing machines to allow families to work and earn a living.
Syria Relief is deeply indebted to the hard work and dedication of our Aid Workers and Volunteers, and to the invaluable help they received from local aid workers in Jordan, who are working day and night to help Syrian refugees over there.
