Syria Relief Annual Charity Dinner

Melodies from the Middle East

The London Syrian Ensemble

The London Syrian Ensemble will showcase some of the most classical music of Syria using both traditional and contemporary instruments. All of the musicians have either studied or taught at the eminent Damascus Conservatoire.

The Syrian conflict has been unrelenting every day for nearly seven years with over half a million-people killed, and millions more displaced or forced to flee. Yet in the depths of the despair; tales of hope, strength and creative power have emerged from the tragedies of war.
Every day, our staff on the ground bear witness to the resilience and determination of the Syrian people to overcome their struggles. Over the past seven years, through the support of our valued donors, we have been able to provide life-changing services and give real hope to Syrians in crisis. For this, we cannot express our gratitude enough.
To commemorate the plight of those suffering, as well as to celebrate our achievements as a key humanitarian aid agency, Syria Relief would be honoured to invite our friends and supporters to our annual charity dinner in London, Melodies from the Middle East.

Joining us on this special night will be eight of Syria’s finest musicians, known as,
