Starved once again
The besieged city of Eastern Ghoutta has been starved once again. UNICEF has stated that more that more than 1,100 children in the Eastern province of Ghoutta are severely malnourished. Under siege since 2013, basic food and medical supplies have been exorbitantly higher than anywhere else even within Syria and supplies are all but non-existent.
But thousands more children across Syria are in desperate need of help.
The girl in the image above is 13 months old and severely malnourished. Her name is Qamar.
Our team came across this young girl in the besieged town of Eastern Ghouta. Our team have reported, that little Qamar is one of hundreds of children in this area suffering from severe malnutrition. The images of malnourished infants in Syria has given us a small glimpse of life under siege in Syria.
On the brink of death, these infants are in dire need of our help.
A donation of 5 pounds can provide a meal for a child living under siege in Syria.
Please give what you can and be a lifesaver for these starving children
