The eagerly awaited month of Ramadan is around the corner, and our team in Syria are now reaching the end of their preparations.
This Ramadan, young children like Lubna will have a meal to eat at sunset this Ramadan.
Assessments have been completed and analyzed across Syria, food has been sourced, and we have located staff in key areas of the country to distribute food effectively in the most desperate areas.
Each day, we are witnessing numerous cases of parents struggling to find food for their children. Sadly, the need for food inside Syria has become more pressing over the past few months, as an increased number of families have been forced from their homes.
We have prepared our team in Syria for a huge task this Ramadan, but we are counting on you, the Ummah to help us ensure the elderly, widows and children are able to eat at sunset.
Find out how your Zakat and Sadaqah could be the help we need to ensure families in Syria will eat this Ramadan.
